SELECTION PROCESS
The Jim Bentley Cup started in 1973 as the premier Professional Doubles Squash Championship in the World. The event now considered to be the “Masters” of the International Squash Doubles Association (ISDA) Tour, where players must meet specific criteria based on their ISDA Tour performance to receive an invitation.

Players are invited based on the following and players may be eligible for the event by meeting one or more of these criteria. These criteria, in order, are:

1. Previous year’s Jim Bentley Cup Champions
2. ISDA Players Champions
3. Top 8 Ranked ISDA players (as of previous season ending rankings)
4. Cambridge Club Picks
5. ISDA Picks
6. By ISDA Individual Rankings (highest ranked player(s) not eligible in above criteria)

*The above is the process used to select 12 players for each year’s Jim Bentley Cup. However, the Cambridge Club has a full right to deny entry to any eligible player at its discretion.
