FAQ

What should I expect from my first visit?

On your first visit to the Clinic, you'll need to complete some paperwork. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes early for this process.

During your first appointment, our pracititioners will discuss your medical and health history, your current concerns, and goals for treatment. They may also complete an assessment to find any additional areas of concern.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

You do not require a doctor's referral to be assessed and treated by any of our practitioners. However, some extended health insurance policies will require that you submit a doctor's referral in order to process your claim. We recommend that you call your insurance provider to determine what they require in order to reimburse your payment.

What should I wear?

We recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing for your appointments - both assessments and treatments - allowing our practitioners to perform thorough assessments and provide effective treatments. If possible, try to expose the area where the problem is (i.e. if it is a shoulder issue, it's best to wear a tank top). If you're unsure how to dress for your appointment, please reach out to ask.

Are all practitioners at the Clinic certified?

All of our practitioners are certified in their respective fields. If you have any questions about their qualifications, please email the individual practitioner or contact the Front Desk.

How does payment/invoices to insurance work?

Unfortunately, we do not offer direct billing. At the end of each visit, following payment, you will be provided a detailed receipt for the service(s) provided. At that point, you may submit the receipt to your extended health benefit provider for reimbursement.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments you will require depends upon your injury and the form of treatment. Speak directly with your practitioner to determine the best treatment plan for you.
