Tyler grew up in Dundas and began squash at the Burlington Racquet Club, where he was coached by his father. His father’s career and passion for the game of squash was where his original interest in the sport began.
During his playing career, Tyler was ranked Top 8 in Canada and #112 on the Professional Squash Association World Rankings. He is a former member of the Canadian Junior National Team and was ranked #1 provincially and #2 nationally in U15-U19. Tyler was a member of Squash Canada’s national Espoir squad and twice played in the semi-finals of the PSA World Tour. He was also a silver medalist at the 2006 Pan Am Junior Championships.
At the Cambridge Club, we pride ourselves on having a world class squash program. With that said, we allow the opportunity to squash members of all skill levels to get involved, play the game and be a part of a great culture. We teach a wide range of squash enthusiasts from the beginner level to top squash athletes in the country.

During a session, Tyler focuses on creating an atmosphere that allows all members the opportunity to improve the fundamental skills needed to increase their success and enjoyment on the court. He also takes a technical but fun approach, allowing members to experience a high level of improvement during their session.
However, he also believes that it’s essential to stress the importance of specific goals during each session, so each member has something to work on moving forward in their games and personal sessions.
