Over the last 13 years Cambridge Group of Clubs Staff and Members have proudly to taken part in Bike for Tykes
, a 4 hour spin-a-thon to raise funds to help build a future of hope for children living with and beyond cancer.
This year’s teams participated in four exhilarating hours of spin relay on stationary bikes with a record breaking 147 teams and over 700 participants, all while child ambassadors cheer on!
But Bike for Tykes is much more than pedaling to high energy music for a great cause, it’s a costume contest to boot! Cambridge Group of Clubs Staff and Members showcased their team spirit and came dressed to impress and did just that. Returning Costume Contest Champions from the Adelaide Club - led by General Manager Blair Lyon - took home the prized trophy to proudly display at the Club.
Congratulations to all the participants who together helped raise over $200,000 for the Cancer Neighbourhood of the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning at SickKids.
