Feel good about this super simple granola recipe, it delivers a delicious breakfast that's quick and easy for those on the go. Stratus Executive Chef Ross reveals his take on healthy granola with this sodium free recipe straight from his kitchen.
¾ cup shredded coconut unsweetened
¾ cup sliced almonds
½ cup whole cashews
½ cup whole or piece of pecans
¼ cup flax seed
3 ½ cup oatmeal
½ cup liquid honey
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup canola oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Assemble the wet and dry ingredients separately in two bowls. Wisk the wet ingredients and add to the dry ingredients mix well. Place on a large baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. This recipe will yield 2 ½ lbs of granola once baked.
