There’s a new face at Adelaide Club! Everyone give a big Adelaide welcome to Klara Hakansson, the latest addition to Adelaide Club’s personal training team.
Klara’s love of fitness has led her around the world and, lucky for us, she wound up here. In Sweden, where she was born and raised, Klara studied physiotherapy. From there, she headed to
Australia, where she became a personal trainer, a certified yoga instructor, a pilates instructor, and developed a keen interest in high-intensity, functional-fitness style training. Talk about a well-rounded education! That, coupled with her dynamic personality made her the perfect fit for the Adelaide Club team.
Klara leads a very active life outside of the club. Running, hiking, skiing, surfing, and Crossfit are all on her list of favourite activities. Her active life springboards from ten years of gymnastic
So, how does she like to train? Like most of the team, Klara’s real passion is in helping others see changes in their own lives. Training people who are active and love to workout is a thrill and a lot of fun for Klara, and with her background, she can handle all levels! There’s another type of member, though: People who are initially uncomfortable in the gym atmosphere or people who need to make changes for health reasons. Being able to bring those people to a point where they love exercise and see what they are capable of—Klara lives for those opportunities. Fitness should to be a fun and intrinsic part of people’s lives. When Klara has helped people to discover that, she feels like she has done her job.
