Yuri, who lives in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto, has also been featured in other recent exhibitions, including an “Honour” project about Canadian World War II veterans (book and shows across Canada), and a series called “North is Freedom”, showcasing portraits of descendants of African American slaves who escaped to Canada via the Underground Railroad, with
exhibitions at the Canadian embassy in Washington and US embassy in Ottawa.
