There are many different massage approaches that can be deployed, addressing everything from general relaxation and wellbeing to the treatment of very specific sports injuries. The benefits of massage are many, including: relaxing muscles, increasing blood circulation and lymph flow, improving healing time of strained ligaments and muscular tissues, reducing inflammation in joints, improving range of motion, reducing heart rate, and increasing endorphins to help with pain reduction.

At the Cambridge Clinic, we offer: Cross Fibre Massage, Deep Compression Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Cryotherapy/Ice Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage.

What can I expect at my first massage?

Before your first massage, plan to arrive 10 - 15 minutes early. At your first massage, you should expect to complete a health history form and plan to discuss your concerns, injuries, and goals with your massage therapist. Your therapist will also outline your treatment plan with you during your first session.
